Summary : To operate, maintain, and service boilers, air compressors, chillers, hydraulic pumps, clarifiers, and cooling towers.
Responsibilities
- Operate, maintain, and service boilers, air compressors, chillers, hydraulic pumps, clarifiers, and cooling towers.
- Assist other team members in providing information or collecting data relative to the plant services.
- Maintain an inventory of parts and reorder supplies.
- Perform chemical treatment for all systems. Required to maintain work records (work orders, PM's, Materials and parts) on computerized Maintenance system.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years experience as Boiler Operator is reqired.
- Must possess a Mass 2nd Class Fireman License.
- Must work well with others and have communication and interpersonal skills.
- Universal refrigeration license is a plus.
- Demonstrated mechanical skills techniques
- Knowledge of HVAC
- Knowledge of plumbing and piping
- Read, write and speak English
- Follow manufacturing / equipment specifications
- Perform basic math calculations
- Use blueprints and schematics
- Use a computer
- Use / understand measuring devices / tolerances
- Use various hand and power tools
- Learn and apply quality standards of workmanship / product
- To obtain forklift pallet-jack and / or man-lift license
